Exotic Island was a Portuguese esports organization that competed in the Counter-Strike scene, mainly at a national level. Despite not reaching the same level of recognition as some of the bigger teams, it played a role in the local ecosystem by giving opportunities to upcoming players and participating in various competitions. Some players who passed through Exotic Island include Cláudio “rIZK” Riscado, Renato “stadodo” Gonçalves, and other Portuguese talents who were active in the scene at the time. Although the organization is no longer active, it contributed to the growth and visibility of Counter-Strike in Portugal
