Giants Gaming is a Counter-Strike 2 esports organization from Portugal
History
Giants Gaming was a Spanish esports organization with a very strong presence in the Counter-Strike scene, especially between 2018 and 2020, when they regularly competed in Iberian and European tournaments. The team became well known for building competitive Portuguese-speaking rosters and being one of the top organizations in the region before eventually closing their CS:GO division in 2020. Over its history, Giants featured many notable players from the Iberian scene, including Ricardo “fox” Pacheco, Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes, João “KILLDREAM” Ferreira, Filipe “NOPEEJ” Dias, Bruno “BLOODZ” Mourão, Renato “renatoohaxx” Gonçalves, Cláudio “Cunha” Cunha, and Rui “RIZZZ” Lima, among others. Although Giants is no longer active in Counter-Strike, it remains an important part of Iberian esports history, especially for helping develop players who later moved on to other top teams like SAW and FTW
